I was born in Vancouver Canada, and spent the first few years of my life playing hockey, riding horses, and doing other fun Canadian things. When I was 9 my family moved to Hawaii and I spent the next 6 years surfing, snorkelling, and everything in between. I also was lucky enough to be a sponsored/competitive surfer for 2 of those years. We then moved back to Vancouver at 16 years old, then moved to Edmonton Canada shortly thereafter, and that’s where I now reside. Fitness has always been a massive passion of mine. From my early years of playing team sports, to preparing for my career as a Firefighter & Paramedic at St Albert Fire Department, and more recently training and competing towards my IFBB Pro card. I fell in love with bodybuilding and competing as I believe it is one of the greatest challenges a person can put themselves through. I decided to take my passion for fitness and created my coaching business Magnuson Athletics®™ to help people tackle their fitness goals and achieve their dream physiques. I also love to travel and have visited 28 countries so far. Fitness has always been a huge part of my life, and I will continue to push to grow each and every year.
